Alexia Dobre is a Romanian set and costume designer for theatre and film based in Bristol. She trained in Bucharest at National University of Theatre and Film “I. L. Caragiale” as set and costume designer, she started to work on different projects from the university, collaborating with directors and choreographers and her creations were displayed in numerous exhibitions in Romania and also at the Student Exhibition of Prague Quadrennial in 2023.

She recently relocated to Bristol and is eager for new collaborations! Alexia is interested in incorporating natural elements in the scenic environment in an essentialised and organic way without losing the theatricality of the set.

She is also interested in the realm of fine arts and the interconnected domains of arts, working in different techniques and mediums.
