I’m a freelance performance designer working in theatre, dance, musicals and opera. I work across set, lighting & video – sometimes one at a time, sometimes together. I grew up in Frome, trained at Motley, lived in London and now I’ve come home to the west country.

I’ve worked all over the UK, in Europe and across the world. In major opera houses, outdoors on new writing, devised work, film and classic texts.

Environmental sustainability has always been an important part of my work, and I’m a Creative Climate Leader, a Carbon Literacy Trainer, a mentor for companies trialling the Theatre Green Book, and also work as a sustainability consultant, supporting arts companies & freelancers to reduce their environmental impacts and bring the environment and climate justice into their work.
